To undertake the design, development, acquisition and implementation of appropriate application systems in the Company in order to facilitate effective utilisation of ICTs.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Analysis: To undertake regular systems analysis and user needs assessments to inform system acquisition, design and development;
System Documentation: To develop system documentation and inventory to facilitate, maintain and ease the use;
Monitoring and Evaluation: To monitor and evaluate the implementation of the application systems to facilitate the development of appropriate interventions;
Database Management: To develop, update and maintain the databases to facilitate storage and retrieval of information; and
Website Management: To manage the institutional website to ensure it is up to date and functional.
Minimum Qualifications
Full Form V / Full Grade School Certificate 12
Diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent
A member of Information and Communications Association of Zambia
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of software development and systems support;
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting;
Proficiency in enterprise operating systems, including Windows Server and desktop environments;
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking, Wi-Fi technologies, and internet protocols;
Good understanding of enterprise systems, including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV);
Strong troubleshooting skills for printers and ICT peripheral devices;
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies;
Mail Server Management;
Programming; and
Excellent technical and analytical skills and report writing
