To undertake maintenance and repair of company motor vehicles within the Zambia Region in order to enhance their efficiency, safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation: Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of motor vehicle performance in order to facilitate interventions.
Planned Maintenance: Undertakes efficiently the implementation of scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance in order to ensure their working order
Corrective Maintenance: Undertakes timely, investigations of causes for motor vehicle breakdowns and repairs in order to prevent disruptions of operations
Custody of Tools and Materials: Undertake effectively safe custody of spares and tools for the section in order to prevent damages and losses
Records Keeping: Undertakes timely, the compilation of preventive and corrective maintenance documentation in order to retain a record for the section.
Workshop : Ensures regularly, good housekeeping of the workshop in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safety of staff
Minimum Qualifications
Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
Minimum Advanced Technician Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to carry out Maintenance and repair work of the company’s fleet, including trucks.
Ability to provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
Computer literate
Troubleshooting skills,

Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience
