Job Description
To operate Plant equipment at the Pump Station at Chinsali / Kalonje in order to facilitate safe delivery of the Petroleum Products from the Port of Dar-es-Salam to Ndola.
Key Responsibilities
- Pumping Units: Undertakes effectively operations of pumping units at the station in order to ensure uninterrupted supply and safe delivery of refinery feedstock to Ndola.
- Auxiliary Equipment: Undertakes the timely operational activities of auxiliary equipment in order to facilitate the availability of pumping units.
- Pigging: Undertakes periodically the pigging of the pipeline in order to ensure its cleanliness
- Data collection: Undertakes timely data collection in order to monitor and control the operations of the pumping units and auxiliary equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
- Technician Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer literate
- Able to write technical and analytical reports
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience
