Job Description
To operate plant equipment at the Pump Station in order to facilitate safe delivery of refinery feedstock from the Port of Dar es Salaam to Ndola.
Key Responsibilities
- Pumping Units: Undertakes effectively operations of pumping units at the station in order to ensures uninterrupted supply and safe delivery of refinery feedstock to Ndola.
- Auxiliary Equipment: Undertakes the timely operational activities of auxiliary equipment in order to facilitate the availability of pumping units.
- Pigging: Undertakes periodically the pigging of the pipeline on order to ensure its cleanliness.
- Data Collection: Undertakes timely data Collection in order to monitor and control the operations of the pumping units and auxiliary equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Form IV Certificate
- Technician Certificate in Engineering
- Member of the Engineers Regulations Board (ERB)
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer literate
- Able to write technical and analytical reports
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Swahili
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
